UF COMJ faculty and fellow physicians win GME Innovator of the Year Awards

The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is proud to celebrate faculty and fellow physicians who were recognized at the 5th Annual Marianne Chaloupek GME Innovation of the Year event. This is a collaboration between the UF Gainesville and Jacksonville Graduate Medical Education offices.

Amie Hoefnagel, MD, a professor and program director of the anesthesiology residency program, received the Judge’s Choice Award for her project “Implementation of the Family Anesthesia Experience (FAX) Program Across Multiple Institutions to Enhance Resident Wellness and Support.” She celebrates this accomplishment with team member Lindsey Chitty, APRN. 

Jeanne Rabalais, MD, MHA, an emergency medicine medical education fellow, received the Audience Choice Award for her project “Enhancing Emergency Medicine Resident Evaluations with AI.” Rabalais celebrates this accomplishment with team members Alexandria Mannix, MD; Chelsea Allen, MD; Aman Pandey, MD; and Melissa Parsons, MD.
