Welcome to the University of Florida Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Jacksonville. Our three-year program is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, began in 1975 and has an outstanding reputation as a strong clinical program with an impressive array of pathology and academic opportunities.

The Emergency Department at UF Health Jacksonville has 69 beds, including five bays in the Level I trauma center and an 11-bed pediatric emergency department. Our residents and fellows hail from many locations throughout the United States. Likewise, we boast a very diverse faculty with a broad range of experience and expertise.
