UF Health Jacksonville, with Dallas-based Intuitive Health, is bringing a new emergency health care concept to Jacksonville. The centers combine the facilities of an emergency room with those of an urgent care center.
Patients will be triaged and sent to which unit best fits their needs.

Funds raised by volunteers and participants for UF Health Jacksonville’s Run for Heroes 5k in 2019 helped finance these changes, which included a colorful makeover to the PICU.
